The problem in Florida is that the seasons don’t change ENOUGH. After 8 years here, I have developed allergies that never get a break, like they would from winter. My ENT says this is common, but it’s driving me crazy.
Having lived most of my life in California and just the last ten years in Idaho, I can do without winter. I will take anything summer has to offer and, fortunately, I don’t have any allergies.
With all due respect, cats in my experience don’t use umbrellas. Or seemingly need to. Maybe Ginger is different, and Homeslice, being hairless, would be a different story.

We’ve had a string of really nice days for this time of the year here in Northern Colorado
Tomorrow’s high temp is supposed to be about 25 degrees cooler than today’s high, and then it’s going to snow for a few days

It was 75 here in East TN yesterday and my daffodils are in full bloom – lovely! But there will still be “dogwood winter”, “blackberry winter”, etc…

in the southwest here the problem is its too dry, all the time dry …. in the spring … dry … summer dry … even when it rains … its dry rain.
