The part of all this that I can’t understand is the astounding prices some people pay for things that have no real intrinsic value. However, it’s their money to spend as they wish. It still baffles me, though.
A coworker of my father was a sportswriter for the local paper. He got us a Carl Yastrzemski autographed ball. The dog decided it was a chew toy. You can still see the signature, but also the teeth marks!

We use to take a balloon blow it up slightly and tie it to the frame. It didn’t last long but it sounded cool.
