When I was 15 and was getting hassled by men in the streets, my dad asked his special forces friend to teach me a few moves in case I had to defend myself. Friend taught me a few moves, no more than five, plus how to hit hard. None of them are fair, nice, or ‘honourable’, because the one attacking me will be none of that. Since then I have taught those moves to plenty of other girls and women.
