I find I do some of my best sleep vertically. I’m thinking about taking a nap right now.

Ah the inconvenience of pretending you want to treat someone to a meal, when you really just want the social points for offering when you think they will be too busy to accept. I get tripped up by this all the time. Those inconsiderate friends always say yes to the free meal.

He’s a bird – they all sleep standing up already!

Used to work the night shift at a hospital, part of my job was counting pills. Was doing this about 3 AM, standing up, when suddenly the wall started to move and I almost fell over. Earthquake! I thought, but no one else seemed to have noticed anything and I realized I had gone to sleep standing up.

That was some powerful magic.
