The word “ain’t” has it uses. Song writers use it when they need a one syllable word for “is not” or “isn’t” as in, “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing (do dah do dah do dah).”
Proper grammar usage by the parents will do a lot more for a child’s grammar than any amount of memorizing “grammar rules” in an English textbook. Take it from me. My family used proper English, and I was able to get by on any English test just by selecting the option which “sounded right.” Isn’t Grandma being diligent about correcting the kids when they don’t “talk good?”

Yeah, it’s not like anybody talk good English anymore.
