    I went back to the old neighborhood where I had lived in a house whose sides were covered in natural wood shingles. The new owners had painted all the shingles blue. That’s why I don’t usually go back to places I’ve lived before – more than 20 places and that’s just my adult life.

    Reminds me of one of those portable freezer packs I carried around for years. I even nicknamed it “Frank Sinatra”. You know, “ol’ blue ice”.
