Dang! I was trying to reply to my own post and ended up deleting it instead. OOPS!

Is that a cherry blossom? We used to have 3 cherry trees. I remember that they were pink, but I don’t remember their exact petal configuration.

We’re under a frost advisory for tonight. Fortunately my pear tree hasn’t blossomed yet, and my magnolia and red bud blossoms have survived the last two frost/freeze warnings.

Same in upper Illinois. The “tulip” trees have bloomed, the crabapples are heavy with future blossoms & the trees are poppin. And we had potential hard freeze warnings & have one more night to go, before we might juuust see the end of 32° & below. Tulips, Daffy-Down-Dillies & Hyacinths are doing just fine & the Forsyrhia haven’t a care in the world; frost, freeze, what iz these words???

It has been a looooong winter. We are still expecting some nights below freezing, but there are a few very welcome signs of Spring. Love this flower!

Lovely! Trees in bloom are masses of small miracles. Such a delight to behold.
