    That’s the thing about Australian wildlife. Everything is out to kill you, even the plants. You have spiders that kill mice before carrying them away, and you have a plant that’s affectionately called the suicide bush.

    When l was a lot younger, back in the 80’s, l used to say l would love to retire in Australia. Then as the years went by and l learn more and more about Australia’s wild life and crazy weather, l start giving up the idea.Now l’m retired in my hometown Caribbean island. No poisonous snakes or spiders. No regrets….
