I thought there was a word for “just before dawn”. All I can think of is crepuscular but that’s about twilight.
It must be nice having some quiet, contemplative time alone while you ferment your devious plans and lay the booby traps. The booby being Gary, of course.

Now that we’ve cleared all that up, it’s time for Gary to go coffin-coffin-bye. and for Leopold to round up a neighbor for breakfast….
