Hmmmm…. I don’t mind atheists, personally, as a church organist of long standing. At least no atheist has ever told me that the opening hymn was too slow/fast/loud/soft.

I like the idea of a “right to go through life without any inconvenience”, too. Let’s make another Constitutional amendment for that one. Right after the one that says “Nobody has the right to dump on anyone else.” (Thanks Poul Anderson!)

Can’t really blame that guy; by this time, most people are sick and tired of carols, lawn displays, holiday commercials, “Peanuts” specials, ad infinitum. To this day, my favorite Xmas song is “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer.”

That’s basically the argument against Christmas, isn’t it? I don’t want to be even mildly…what? Offended? Inconvenienced? I mean, is it really that big of a deal to these people? You have to be a maniac to get offended at Christmas displays with so many real problems in the world.

Anyone who claims to be personally offended by static holiday or religious displays (Christian or otherwise) is either borderline insane or just wants attention for a political agenda.

I just love broad generalizations, don’t you?
