Introversion doesn’t mean shyness. It means a preference for one’s inner world over interaction with others. At a real introverts meeting, everyone would be reading a book or reading websites on their phones, possibly just staring into space and daydreaming. They wouldn’t be afraid or shy to talk to each other, they’d simply be preferring not to. Extroverts often think we’re being passive-aggressive or not paying attention or listening (because we’re very often not listening to you prattle on). Shyness is something completely different. Simply put, I as an introvert find interaction with other people boring, tedious, and draining.

Again with the false stereotype of introverts being shy and socially awkward. A real introvert wouldn’t even show up!
