When my husband says stuff like that he is being purposely obtuse. Those conversations make me tired.

I say “potty.” It’s better to be silly than offensive.

OK, I don’t need to go to the toilet anymore, I need to take a shower, and fresh undies.

When I was a kid (50+ years ago), my uncle had a little grocery store in Elizabeth City, NC. He had a sign with a harried looking woman that read: Rest room? Heck, I ain’t tired. Where’s the can?

Oh I DO SO agree with him.You can either use the toilet, take a bath/shower/wash or have a rest, usually in different rooms.
