Tough call Fred! Maybe save a few barks for the park? Too bad he can’t hear your thoughts like we all can!

Tough assignment. A dog just naturally has to bark at noises, strange sounds and sometimes the wind.

Then don’t leave him outside. If you can’t stand it, what about the neighbors?

Fred’s doing his version of the catchy theme song from the 20 five-minute episodes of the 1976 BBC cartoon tv series, “Fred Basset.” : )

When my dog started barking at nothing, I would ask him if Timmy was stuck down the well again and send him out into the back yard.

Our 16-year old Maggie doesn’t hear anything anymore and doesn’t see well so now there isn’t anything or anyone that needs to be barked at. Just a YIP when we’re slow with her after-walk treat.

I have a delivery route. There are quite a few dogs that bark, and often their owners tell them to stop. That makes me laugh. Dogs are supposed to bark. If you don’t like barking, get a cat! Or a basenji.
