My Grandson was like that at Doug’s age here. When he was 4 I bought him a battery driven jeep. Never seen a kid so happy. Worth every penny to watch him taking it out on the street (sidewalk) and driving around the block. Today he’s in college and still loves to drive.

Buy a few key blanks at the lock shop, put them on a chain or a ring, and let Dougie have those.

I used to have a big ring of odd keys for the kids to play with. They never liked the plastic toy key ring.
