    I’ve worked in a customer-oriented business. Threats by customers that they will never return never bothered us. In fact, we’d often advise them right back that we don’t even want their business, and for them to go elsewhere.

    I remember a customer telling my dad that he wouldn’t be back and he was going to tell his friends not to do business with us

    Dad told him that if his friends were as stupid as he was, we didn’t want their business either

    I’ve had customers tell me that and then seen them days later sneaking around when they realize I’m also on the floor.

    In general, an unhappy customer will tell ten times as many people about it as a happy one. Nonetheless, some people are worth sending out in a huff.
