I’m ambivalent about cat bats. They would be fascinating animals but they’d be able to get places where no cat has gone before. They could do the seagull thing and swoop down and snatch food out of your hand.
Hire two more people and loosen up that schedule. Have a few more people available to take a shift is someone were to call in sick. Retail almost always runs on the idea of “just enough if everything runs perfectly.” But nothing ever runs perfectly.
