I LOVED Evel Kenievel when I was in elementary school back in the ‘70s. He jumped buses, a fountain in Vegas, even a shark. But the kicker, of course, was the infamous Snake River Canyon rocket car jump, which was more of a ’drop straight down into the canyon’ jump.
