No way would I stand in line for an hour for a bag of candy, popcorn or drink. Five minutes is my limit. I would not eat what was grossly overcharged in the first place.
If there’s an arcade, I’ve been known to waste time there. I once got a silver bracelet (I checked) from one of those skill machines and it was worth way more than the $1 in quarters I spent to get it!

30 mins early is OK. I typically tend to be 1 hour ahead of my appointments (if not more sometimes) just to play it safe with the traffic jams

I’m amazed at a theatre that has half an hour between showings where they’d let you sit there.

I hope you got to watch all those cool, previews, right?

I hope the movie was worth it. At least you had something to do while you were waiting……pop and popcorn.
I hate to think about how much time we have spent in our lives ‘waiting’.

That is why I always try to have a book handy. I haven’t been to a movie in years, but waiting for a connecting bus can get tedious.

The problem for me is if I’m too early the popcorn is gone before the feature starts.
