Reminds me of my freshman year in college. Had a friend who lived above a garage, and painted his “found” sofa with scenery paint ( theatre major, don’tcha know.) Every time I sat on it, I wound up with a black bottom!

Sounds like my furniture AFTER I got out of college and had to pay for my first apartment, lol.

I still have a table I bought back in college. It’s sturdy metal legs. I use it for remote work.

Geez, what kind of furniture did he have at home???

The pickers go through the stacks behind the apartments and dorms after every semester and put it in their second-hand stores, A lot of it is new, unused, and in the original box. It is a major college town industry.

Set it out by the street, some homeless person will take it.
