After I started being a regular VBS volunteer (running the Bible Adventures portion,) I had to give up community theater. VBS hit my yearly quota for drama.
No fright wigs in class! (Though you really can’t tell sometimes.) Spray highlights? Rainbow streaks? Jelly from their last PBJ? Juicy Fruit gum? (I’m old).

You brave soul. I did VBS one year, never again. I love kids but that was A challenging week.
