I wonder if there are newsreel and cartoons. When I was about 7 ( dark ages…) a movie theater in Hollywood showed only newsreels. My mother used to take me, strange child that I was, I loved them.

NATIONAL LEON DAY. National Leon Day marks June 25th as six months away from Christmas day. Leon is Noel spelled backward and is a day some crafters begin planning their homemade gifts and decorations. It can also be a day for those who miss the winter holidays to have a mini-winter celebration in June.

NATIONAL STRAWBERRY PARFAIT DAY. None for me. I just finished eating my strawberries a few minutes ago.

Confused kitties. Could you imagine bringing cats to a theatre?

The cats need to listen to Oliver…..the only voice of reason at the moment.

Wonder what kind of movies cats would like to watch. Maybe “That Darn Cat” or “Black Panther” or"the Pink Panther" or “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” On another note, saw eight robins, a rabbit, a sparrow, a junco, two woodpeckers, a Wilson’s warbler, and a wren while out walking today.
