In the “old days”, milk came in bottles that had a cardboard cover which folded over the sides on top of the bottle. They apparently smelled of cream because my cat Gamma would pick one up in her mouth, so that it covered her nose, and walk around with it. It was a wacky look. She also batted them around. These were about four times the size of Pippin’s bottle caps but very lightweight.
My late loving wife and I had a Munchkin, she loved playing hockey with the plastic caps that used to come on certain water bottles. I was always cleaning them from under the fridge and out of the sump pump. She died a few years ago and after my loving wife died I was cleaning the basement and found about 20 more plastic caps when I moved a shelving unit.

If we ever move our refrigerator or stove I expect to find a LOT of bottle caps!

Cats often collect stuff. They’re OCD so they often focus on one kind of thing.
