If that story was true, how could the woman bear to sell the mug?
I have a glass tumbler that was my grandfather’s … engraved with a Masonic crest and his initials. He died before I was born, but I heard plenty of stories about him.
I would not sell a mug with those memories.
If that was really a family heirloom, I doubt that she would sell it
