So glad I had a wonderful mamma. She held to the old fashioned traditions of men being men, and women being women, but she taught all of her kids to cook, thought it was fine for boys to play with dolls (to practice being good dads), and learn practical things like sewing that some people would have said were only for girls. Mom and dad were both raised on farms and so mom and the girls would go fishing with us and do other “tomboy” things. I think part of the reason people have problems with being “binary” is that we’ve gotten a lot of wrong ideas about what’s manly, feminine, or … something else, or in-between.

Just call Marie’s Empanadas in Denver. Put them on one of your own plates, then hide the box.

if you have ever made a fried pie then making empadas is so easy. I am turning my fried pies into baked pies because of dietary needs in the family,

What’s so wrong with feeding a man for a day? Just make him something every day and he’s happy.
