In seriousness, I long for the day when a self-driving car becomes practical on all levels. As I age, I become aware that some day down the line I’ll probably have to give up my license, and the loss of mobility would be devastating. And sure, I know all about the senior ride services, but you have to really plan around those, and they are not convenient in the least. And Uber? Ugh. I’d really rather be in my own car.
