I am getting an early start today, the last two have been rather hectic and I wanted to say hello while I had a few extra minutes. We will leave shortly for Springfield as I have an appointment with my oncologist. A 90 minute drive for an appointment that lasts about 10 minutes. At least I get a trip to the city. :-)
Although not as dark as yesterday it’s darkish out there. A thin fog floating down in the valley and it has been raining the current temperature is 56. The forecast for today is for showers and T-storms, could get intense at times. Got to take the bad with the good. (^.^)
Another Friday, another trip to Newport and the grocery store. (Lucky me) In a few I’ll make out my will, uh, list to take with me, helps keep me on track. Will!? I don’t live in NYC!!
A blessed day for all y’all Vagabonds, and may God keep you company.
We (the HOA board) are putting up flyers on everyone’s front door telling them about the water shut-off. This is in addition to a bulk mailing and an email blast with the same information. We want to be absolutely sure that no one is blindsided by the shut-off. Can you imagine being in the middle of your shower when the city turns it off? (It is such a major deal that the city has to be the one to do the shutting down and turning back on again.)
I took advantage of the necessity of climbing stairs and touching everyone’s front door in 6 buildings to make my morning walk longer and more productive than usual. Good for the heart…
We’re looking at 102 and a few clouds today. It’s 87 at the moment.
The sun is shining, the grass is green, the orange and palm trees sway.
There’s never been such a day in Beverly Hills, LA
But it’s December the 24th
And I am longing to be up north….
10 points to anyone who can tell me where those four lines came from.
