I — a cart collector — can so relate. How hard is it to return a cart either to a corral or back to the lobby? As for the next person to park in a space that has a cart in it, to move said cart? Cart collectors have other tasks such as cleaning spills, helping another shopper take their groceries to their car, taking perishable items from the cashier back to its fridge.

Iraqi veteran I knew several years ago—"Weirdest thing happened yesterday. As I pulled into my driveway after going to the grocery store, a cop pulled up with lights flashing. License, registration, the usual. Finally told me that there was a report identifying me as hitting a pickup with a shopping cart and then just leaving after I “hid” the cart(I put it in the cart rack) without notifying anyone about possible damage. I finally convinced the officer that it was MY pickup and there was NO damage."

Start at the upper right and work your way around in a clockwise manner, taking them back one or two at a time. No use being a baby about it. Next time order the groceries for pickup.

That looks deliberate! Did the carts plan it?

I once pulled into a parking space and watched from two lanes over a cart roll directly into my car!
