I’m glad you chose to quote the original version of the poem.

I’ve lived most of my life a thousand miles from the nearest sea, and still that poem always calls to me.

Such an awesome thought, even Captain Kirk quoted Masefield, think it was The Last Frontier when McCoy Spock and Kirk were camping. I may be wrong on the episode.

I’d be asking for a good crew, and enough food and rum for the journey. So, hey, look me up when you feel the need.

I prefer “Under the sea” from The Little Mermaid.
