You know when I read the first collection of strips, welcoming me to this wonderful comic (and sadly one of only FOUR collections in the strips long history) I never expected it to somehow end up esclating to “Poncho and Hudson end up in Hansel and Gretel for gods with a stertypical yet self concious witch for a week” but gods bless Paul Gilligan for it. Some comic strip writers loose a step or two as they go or fall into the motions. Paul Gilligan just says “Forget that i’m adding a witch”, and it says something this week feels just as natural as a week about Poncho getting his tail slammed in the door and wanting a yacht. The characters relaly haven’t changed but Gilligan clearly hasn’t ran out of ideas in almost 20 years of comic strip.

She has no idea what she has invited into her home. I believe she will probably end up in a convent.

Are you sure she isn’t selling time shares? Seems pretty familiar to me.

She has all this food. Eat it herself. Many of these old stories fall apart when you examine them.
