I’ll remember to do something, get up to go do it, and forget what it was halfway there. I read somewhere that a busy mind keeps you young. Also confused.

My dr had put me on a new rx (medication) and I kept complaining that it affected my memory. He insisted it was not a potential side effect. I disagreed but kept taking it as he wanted me to. Eventually, a few years later, he asked me if I had any memory problems because that was a new side effect from the medication. My response? “I do not recall having any memory problems.” He accepted that as a serious reply. I have since had a few other rx cause my memory issues and have learned if I stop them as soon as I notice the change, it will reverse.

I am wondering now if he took the rx also, since I had complained for a long time about memory loss from that drug. He should have remembered or written it down.

Hah! Amateurs! I’ve forgotten more stuff than I will ever know!

I keep on forgetting to remember to forget.
