Cobra look like a saucy-eyed Blondie in the first pane, and youthful too with dreamy eyes.

Wow! Did Cobra get a makeover? She certainly wears it well.

Are we launching into re-runs for a while?

This is obviously a flashback. Rip is scared enough to be off his pancakes and he’s remembering this other runaway sheriff, as the fear is clearly tied to the location rather than to the villain because Rip does not know or understand fear. He is regaining control so he can conquer whatever is causing the fear.

Let Dan have some time off, True Believers! He needs to recharge his creative juices. He does create 4-strips…at last count.

Different shirt. Different girl. Different story. Ruins my whole day of anticipation. Guess I’ll have to do something productive instead!

Maybe Dan does need a break. Still, I hope we get back to the Madame Silk storyline soon.
