As a favor to a friend, I took his cousin, an acrobatic dancer by profession, out for dinner. She had been raised in New York, knowing mostly brick and asphalt her whole life. When we came back to my place, she was absolutely terrified of my cat. “What is it? Is it dangerous?”
Apparently, she got over her ignorance of animals. Last I heard, she had sent my friend a picture of herself with two Labrador Retrievers on her aerobic exercise TV series in Belgium!
