I always read the comics last. It was my rqard for sloggin through the rest of the newspaper.

You have to grow older, growing up is optional

Well, there goes the water level….

Time to get a bigger pool, or at least another small one.

Besides, the kids need to enjoy those last few days before school starts up again!

I still read the comics first! Followed by Sudoku.

Comics are always near the top. Unfortunately, can’t always reach near the top.

You need two pools.

ALWAYS read the comics first! Makes the rest of the paper more palatable.

That’s what one might call a semisweet soaking.

I like to read the comics last, it sort of blunts the bad stuff.

Adult swim is now OVER! No grown-ups in the pool! Scram, git, go, BE GONE!

Well, the little ones get rhe first choice, I guess. You can’t hog the pool for long.

At least my parents were nice enough to wait until we kids were tucked into bed. before taking over the pool. On hot summer nights, they’d invite the neighbors, too. We’d know when they did that because in the morning tv trays and lawn chairs would be encircling the pool.
