I hate that greeting. I will reply, “Do you really want to know, or are you just asking?” And if it’s just their way of a greeting then it’s, “All things considered, reasonably well.”
I used to work at a place that certain people would always use that greeting…I got tired of it, and would proceed to tell them what hurts, how my finances were doing, how the wife was doing, etc…I tried to tell them on several occasions to not ask, or I will tell them, but to instead say, “Bob! How good it is to see you! Glad you made it to work!” It never happened…

I was thinking Chicken 2 was going to say “…feeling a bit peckish”, but that would be a bit too on-point because chickens.
