I think all jobs should have recess, the world would be a better place

“On the 1 to 100 recess scale, learning is a solid 5.”

Teachers also enjoy the recess.

In my day, we had an hour-long outside recess. Our playgrounds were large, and divided into sections by age grades and gender. One time it had snowed, ideal for packing, and Eighth-Grade boys made an enormous snowman.

These days, many schools don’t have outside recess, because of legal liability issues.

With years of life experience upon which to reflect, I now think lunch is the most important period.
