Oh, spot on! My last boss certainly liked to “brainstorm with his team” and then later take credit for useful ideas that developed. He got a promotion doing that — but the team that had given him the undeserved credit was no longer around, so he was suddenly exposed as a fraud: The Peter Principle in action!
This is SO TRUE! While my brother was in the Navy, he wrote a book about the weather and clouds, etc! They published it but his name wasn’t even on it. ☹️☹️
