Any person who spoils a perfectly good walk by carrying a bag of clubs, and hitting a ball is a goofball.

Is throwing your game, paying off large stupid bets and paying the club tab bribery? Just asking for a friend.

There is a reason that golf is the most common sport among presidents. Not only are many too old for most other sports, but it’s easy to talk at the same time.

I’m not sure whether he meant “a foolish person” or a “barbiturate or tranquilizer pill,” but either seems to work here.
