Not bad, considering all the pieces seem to be nearly the same color. Paired with dog color perception adds to the fun.
Cats do love chess. Unfortunately, they seem to think it’s played by lying in the middle of the board for a while, and then batting the pieces onto the floor and underneath the furniture.
The only way I can imagine the dog winning is if they’re betting.

In chess, each player has a white square by his right paw. I don’t know what this game is called.
Obviously, the dog is having fun to continue for so long.
It helps that he’s learned to restrain himself from peeing on the bishops. They look so much like fire hydrants.

No credibility here…the board is oriented 90 degrees off. Perhaps they are both color impaired.
