Just go online you’ll find Christmas decorations that are ready to be shipped. In August the Halloween candy and decorations were already out with school supplies. September is for Christmas and the commercials have already been seen.
I have been stumbling over Halloweenie candy displays for 4 weeks already. They were up around here before the back-to-school displays. Since I live “up north” I really don’t need a calendar to tell me what season it is BUT they insist that I need to know IF I shop in their store. The problem now is I get confused because they are always 3 to 5 months earlier than the calendar. I’m kinda surprised I haven’t seen any Valentine candies or even a chocolate Easter bunny. OH WAIT – forgot the Dollar Store had some.
our favorite home center and the ritzy chocolatier down the street from it already have their halloween decorations up so the christmas decorations can’t be far behind…
fun fact: halloween is now japan’s most popular holiday…

And in the real world, neighbors throw out their dry Christmas tree in JULY. (Yes, I saw it happen here.)

Since the retail stores jam down our throats months in advance they might as well just have holiday departments all year long

When I lived in Florida, the local K-Mart would put Xmas decorations (including artificial trees) out on display in mid-August. Disgusting.

I’ve already seen an artificial tree, last week.
