Has throwing basketballs in a hoop actually worked for Nate once? Because I remember this strip from 1991 where Nate gets a higher score than Francis.

4.5/10 I mean, shooting basketballs in a hoop is kind of a stale joke by now. Peirce should retire this joke.

I love the strips that show how superstitious Nate is. Francis or Teddy is always in them, reminding him how dumb it is to have something unrelated determine how well he’ll do

Francis is such a bad friend. He could have just let Nate be and left him with his superstition. He didn’t have to put Nate down. That’s not what good friends do. Leave Nate be.

9.5/10 – Great comic but there’s too many of these “shooting” comics. Not that they’re bad, but just repetitive.

That was completely unnecessary on Francis’ part
