Well, Carmen….a good start would have the Rs put realistic proposals on the table instead of that stooopid wall idea.

It that’s actually true, why do Republicans sabotage every attempt to build a database of legal immigrants it is okay to hire?

Why do Republicans, who froth at the mouth over illegal immigration, continue to HIRE them?

Immigration, illegal and legal, is just one more goddam issue that Republicans LIE about and weaponize. Stantis’ cartoon is just another example.

It’s about immigration ? Glad others could read that into it. What exactly is the VP supposed to do about a flood of humans, water, whatever ?

This is apparently a plea to change the asylum laws to say “Go home, we don’t want your kind here.”

Flood. Control what? Immigration? Inflation? Probably not climate change in this instance.

Idiots who think any VP “should” do something really do not understand the office. VPs are like crown princes. You want them to doing nothing but looking pretty and subservient to the president. The minute they are allowed to do more you risk a palace revolution.
