Your teacher’s first name wouldn’t happen to be “Clam”, would it, Ruthie?

Instead of “drop the Y”, I learned it as “change the Y to I and add E-S.”

That will do it.

Ruthie is going to give grandma a heart attack with her baby talk.

And for all these years, I’ve been doing it the hard way.

I wish more people would remember that rule, instead of adding an apostrophe and an S.
