Here’s an interesting hypothetical scenario.

A white South African, whose ancestors have lived in South Africa for hundreds of years, and who, himself, has never been outside of South Africa, moves to the United States and becomes an American citizen. At the same time, a black Italian, whose ancestors have lived in Italy for hundreds of years, and who, himself, has never been outside of Italy, moves to the United States and becomes an American citizen.

Which of these two is an African American?

What about the African American Females? (This is getting complicated!)

Blackmail is such a dirty word. I prefer extortion.

What did they do? What did he say? I looked back a few days and couldn’t see anything relevant. Maybe it’s just left to our imagination.

The one thing they learned at school?

No, I think Black is the preferred term now. I hate when jokes are OBE.

I prefer to be called black. I am an American who happens to be black. Those who happen to be white aren’t lumped together as European Americans. There is no such country as African-American. They are Ghanaians or Sudanese or Nigerian and many many more different ethnicities.
