I was thinking of saying something about leaves being a staple of fall, but I’d better not.

I’m with him! So far there’s few leaves in the yard….they always seem to wait till December to completely fall and then it’s so cold I can’t get to them all.

Some one has cabin fever

Winter comes. The bears at Katmai River are feeling it now, but like the Salmon Spring and Summer come again.

Maybe he thinks it won’t snow if the leaves don’t fall. Unfortunately the October Surprise snowstorm in Buffalo, sixteen years ago yesterday and today, put the lie to that. You do not want that much snow on trees full of leaves!
