I’m reminded of when we met the NFL’s oldest punter, years ago in the strip. He had a leg like that.

I hope that leg doesn’t slow Junior down.

The world champion arm wrestler only develops one arm. One arm is huge while other is scrawny…well, like mine.

With that leg he can kick it into next week.

Ray Guy changed football with his punting.

Reminds me of a (IIRC) Tank McNamara cartoon featuring George Blanda. Old George was going to kick a FG. He was wrinkled, withered, and using a cane, but his kicking leg was massive and when he kicked the ball, not only the ball but the defenders all went flying.

R.I.P. Ray Guy.

A college football scholarship and and an NFL contract in that kids future. Someday he’ll thank his father.

My son could have done that. His junior year in h.s. he punted a ball about 70 yards, in Camp Randall stadium…way over the heads of the returners. He loved football he said, but he wouldn’t dedicate his time to working on it. Now, 33 years later, he admits he had the dream, but not the drive.

I HATE pushy parents.
