Every year creatures that look like a pile of leaves and when people jump onto them the mouth opens and clamps over them, digests them then spits out the clothes. They have combat tentacles and dozens of small legs that can move them slowly or quickly. sideways.
The Gobbler-heap is here in places with deciduous trees exist and autumn comes. They can be slow moving on cold mornings before they dig underground to hibernate.
