Well at least Marmaduke trusts Phil with his toys. Trust is hard to come by with an animal.

What’s the ‘big’ problem ? Phil is still us, as is ‘Marm’ plus the house is just as they left itl.

Similarly, I wake up with all of the animals on top of me.

Of my 2 Danes 1 snores in my ear the other doesn’t snore much. One of my cats will get in my headboard next to my head and snore almost as loud as the Dane. Some nights I just want to sleep on the couch. That wouldn’t work because then both Danes would just follow and lie on top of me.
