Reunited with business partner Arthur Rankin who died in 2014 (and of course Burl Ives voiced the snowman narrator who died in 1995).

Rudolph, Santa’s coming to town, Frosty, Snow Miser (aka Year without Santa), Stingiest Man in Town, and those are just the Christmas classics.

Back when tv was not yet a thing everyone had even one of in their homes, Johnny Marks wrote most, if not all, of the songs mentioned. The year “Rudolph” the song came out and could be heard on the radio, this commenter was pushed onto the school stage at the age of 6 and told to “sing Rudolph”. Presumably part of the Christmas pageant. One of the few unnerving memories left from that time.

Sadly another talent gone home to the Goddess. She dearly loves storytellers.

I just wish GoComics would rotate these tall ones so they were easier to read.
