Never had that panic. When i go out my phone is safely at home where I can’t lose it. I’m not important enough that people need ro call me when I’m out running errands, and I doubt Ralph is either.

I panic when I can’t find my glasses. The problem is that I need my glasses to be able to see them.

Just price a new I phone, and think about having to pay that again before the first one is paid off.

Given some of the calls that have gone to 911, the last panel wasn’t really a surprise!

Most of my life never worried about a phone, but now I hate it when I leave it at home. For emergencies, don’t live on it.

I’m not catholic, but I cross myself every morning when I go out: keys… wallet… phone… I’m extraordinarily absent-minded, and without my rituals I lose my stuff all the time. Lost my wallet again last week and I fear it’s really lost this time, so had to cancel all my cards. What a pain.

Was she calling 911 because his phone was lost or because she thought he was having a heart attack?!

You know, there’s an app for that. On the other hand, I’ve always wondered how use the app if you can’t find your phone.

I lost my iPhone once. I was visiting a friend in New Jersey and we took a bus into Manhattan to see a Broadway show. At some time during the show, I realized that I no longer knew where my phone was. I searched all around where we were sitting, under the seats on both sides, in front and behind us, but no phone. After the show, I reported it as lost and was told to call the theater tomorrow to see if the cleaners had found it. In the meantime, I used another iPhone to locate mine, and it showed on a map that it was somewhere in the same block as the theater, so most likely in the theater.

The next morning I called and they told me that a cleaner had found it and it was in their office. Next, back on the bus to NYC and a walk to the theater where a woman came out with my phone and made me unlock it to prove it was mine. I didn’t get to meet the cleaner who found it, but I left a nice tip to be given to him. I hope he got it. But the ability to locate the phone remotely lowered my blood pressure substantially!

June, people have gotten in big trouble for less than that.
