They’ve been replacing 60 year old gaslines. Now they say I have a leak, get a plumber (Thanksgiving week) before they’ll turn me back on. Dinner is crock-potroast.
Kind of academic for me, since I don’t say Grace. But if I did, I think that for that meal, it would be something like, "Uh, yeah, so . . . this food . . . I mean, uh . . . yeah . . . so, let’s eat . . . "

a “thank you” would do – “not eating it” follows

“Rub-a-dub-dub! Thanks for the grub! Yaaaaay, God!” Just a memory from the distant past….

Hey… I LIKE fish sticks and lima beans…
That’s pretty much what I had Monday and Tuesday night. except they were frozen mixed vegetables, which only have a few lima beans.
But I’m always thankful.
Too many out there with nothing.
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

Haven’t had that combination of foodstuffs before, but I’d eat it, I like both.

More thankful for more stuff? Or contentment with necessities?

I’ve had worse. And fishsticks and lima beans are a lot less stressful than a typical thanksgiving dinner.

Cheaper and better things than fish sticks and lima beans……

Support a charity I say, if you can afford it that is, maybe donating like 1% of your income.
